I will never "judge a book by its cover again". When I tragically became a single father, I also had the responsibility of finding a preschool and child care for my two young children, ages 1 and 3 years old. My wife had always done this and we had not been very successful with "in-home" child care. When Mrs. Hart told me Growing God's Way was the whole first floor of her home, I was very sceptical-I even considered cancelling my interview. I thank God for "telling" me to go for she truly is a "Godsend". Not only did she provide an excellant program, she really did prepare my children for kindergarten in a very Christian environment. She and her daughters love children and are "there" for the children and families. Being in the military, I also had to consider my work schedule throughout the year, remembering how other child care facilities closed or delayed opening during inclement weather. Mrs. Hart opens early and stays open later on such days so that parents who still must report for duty can get to work on time. To add to her reportage, she provides very nourishing, healthy food, most of which she prepares herself. Growing God's Way is the best "thing" that ever happened to my children, especially after loosing their Mom.
